As a long standing Headteacher with over 25 years of experience,
Mrs Sylvia Libson, our headteacher, has gained a formidable reputation in the field of Education. Her commitment and dedication has now been recognised formally and she has been awarded the prestigious Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the June honours list.
Many of you, who have known her over the many years she has worked in Brent, know of her passion and dedication to the children ensuring that their education was paramount. She has used her expertise to transform Oakington Manor Primary to an outstanding school. Most recently she has worked her magic at Furness. This award is a welcome recognition of her years of commitment, drive and energy she has shared willingly with all.
