Christmas Bazaar 2014
‘Deck the halls with boughs of holly’ the famous carol cries out!! Oakington certainly festooned their corridors and hall with yet another wonderful, seasonal display beginning with the tree garlanded with tinsel, bells, stars and baubles. Mr Jumah and Mr Arrisate adorned the front corridor with the Nativity scene. Each class contributed to a circular poppy themed display in the main hall ornamented with bells, Nativity characters, stars, snowmen, 12 days of Christmas, etc
On December 9th the Sport’s Hall rang out with carols to the delight of Pupils, Parents and Staff heralding the Christmas Bazaar. The hall was packed with Seasonal delights : vibrant cake stalls, lively Bazaar games, energetic bouncy castles, vivid Mehndi and face paint areas, the fantastic stage full of Christmas hampers donated by the staff and last but not least the jingle bells and cries of ‘Ho! Ho! Ho!’ from the Father Christmas grotto.
